Recycling Service

Dear Clover Creek MUD Resident,

Effective July 1, 2020 WCA will be providing recycling for your community. WCA is excited about offering this for your community, because we believe recycling household trash plays a big part in achieving our goal of reducing the amount of waste deposited in landfills.

WCA will provide a sixty-five (65) gallon cart for this service. The carts will be delivered in June, so that you can begin to place recycling items in the cart.

Household recycling must be placed at the curbside by 7:00 A.M. every Monday. WCA will collect residential recyclables located curbside in the sixty-five (65) gallon carts. Current items being collected are paper including newspaper, magazines, phone books, catalogs, junk mail, envelopes, file folders, computer paper, construction paper, colored paper, corrugated cardboard boxes (flattened and bundled) cereal and soda/beer boxes, gift boxes, wrapping paper; containers including aluminum cans, aluminum foil, plastic bottles/jugs/buckets #1 through #7. Excluded Items are: Styrofoam; Glass Bottles or Jars, metal pots and pans; scrap metal like nails; screws; gutters; and copper. In the event that the market price for any one (1) or all of the commodities designated to be collected drop to the point that such materials can no longer be sold or processed, WCA will remove that item(s) from the list of those items to be recycled and notify the residents.

Please see attached guidelines for recycling.
